The webkinz Fantail Goldfish came out in August 2008 along with ten other pets. It has no Lil'Kinz version, is retired and has not been the Pet of the Month. Its special item is Fantail Table and its special food is Daphnia Dafina. The Fantail Goldfish has a virtual Ganz eStore Figurine called the Surfing Fantail Goldfish.
