The Giraffe webkinz pet was released in October 2009 and wasn't Pet of the Month yet. The Giraffe is not retired, and does not have a Lil'Kinz. The Giraffe's special food is a Tally Pop and special item is the Tall Neck TV. It is the first webkinz to have a long neck.

Before being released, the Giraffe was rumored for many years, as early as Webkinz World had come out. Once the Ganz eStore was announced, many people thought the Giraffe was going to be in the eStore, instead of a plush, maybe because of it's long neck.
