Hungry Hog is a game in the Webkinz Arcade where users play as Pinky the Pig. It is one of the original Webkinz games. The objective of the game is to navigate through the map to eat all of the junk food while avoiding the bees. Pinky eats food by moving into it, and loses a life if they touch a bee. Pinky starts with three lives. The game resembles Pac-Man.

Eating junk food causes Pinky to become fat and temporarily slow down, allowing the bees to chase them down more easily. Eating fruits or vegetables helps Pinky regain their speed but generates more junk food on the map. Players progress to the next level by helping Pinky eat all of the junk food on the map. Pinky is not required to eat fruits or vegetables to move to the next level. As the level number increases, the maps become more complex and more bees are added.

At the start of the level and after eating vegetables, Pinky is fast enough to outrun any bees when moving. However, Pinky becomes too slow to outrun bees if they eat enough junk food. If Pinky picks up a Bee Helmet by moving over it, the bees are unable to sting them and try to move away from them. Pinky can knock the bees out by moving into them under the effects of the Bee Helmet. The Bee Helmet only lasts for a few seconds, after which Pinky is vulnerable to bee stings again. Every 8,000 points, an extra live is rewarded.

Earning Points[]

  • Eating a piece of junk food - adds 10 points
  • Eating a vegetable - subtracts 50 points and adds 5 pieces of junk food onto the map
  • Obtaining the Bee Helmet - adds 50 points
  • Knocking a bee out using the Bee Helmet - adds 100 points

Since the net gain of eating a vegetable is 0 points, it is better to avoid eating vegetables when possible, since lengthening the level gives the bees more opportunities to sting Pinky for no additional points.
